Be aware. You will receive NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to use the practice test code Amazon emails. I spent a long time emailing Pearson support before getting instructions on how to use it. To use it download exam software from Pearson's website (Amazon won't allow me to put the URL so you may need to contact Pearson support to find it) then follow the install instructions to use your access code.The layout of the book, content and practice exam seem to be solid other than the issue mentioned above.
I bought Comptia Linux + / LPIC-1 and other Comptia / Pearson books, so I already had the Practice Test installed on my computer, I just needed to put the code in the software and the download was done normally.But the CD did not come with this book, since the others I bought came with the software on CD.So this can make the person really spend some time to get instruction to how download the practice test.
I recently completed my 201 exam. I must say this book is in dept compared to other materials I've used. Would definitely recomment
From an informative point of view it is a very good book, very well explained for a beginner. However, you need much more than what it gives to actually get a LPI-2 Certificate.
I just bought this book , i am gonna read it . I hope it has a lot of labs and it will be enough for the Exam . I will give my feedback as soon as i take the exam.
