The technical part is well delivered, however it could be even shorter - lightweight nodes and Merkle trees don’t contribute much to the concise picture.Where the title is struggling, in my opinion, is in describing the pros and cons of blockchain technologies as well as potential use-cases. They are too one-sided, focused on vague promises of blockchain. For example: Jonathan Morley writes that hospitals are trying to share data via centralised system, then declares that blockchain might help alleviate the need for paperwork when switching doctors, without noting why the aforementioned centralised system fails in achieving the same goal.All in all - reading this book won’t hurt you, just keep in mind that it is - by author’s design - superficial; but probably sufficient for you to decide if you want to explore further.

I’d recommend the book to those who are first exploring block chain or who haven’t yet become acquainted with certain aspects of it. I chose 5 starts because I’m familiar with most of the content and appreciated the metaphoric delivery. It was high impact, yet the appropriate amount of depth for keeping the read to an hour.
...and an even easier finish. Jonathan walks through complex topic and creates simple framework in the process. Some good high level views on building blocks and primer on the hash. A view comes through but only enough to make for an interesting read. Worth getting for you and your colleagues.

It is evident that the author, Jonathan, spent a great deal of time putting this intro book together. The book is written in an easy to understand, concise manner, and anyone with an interest in cryptocurrency should download and read! I personally spent some time with it, though it truly is a one-hour intro. Grab your copy, you will not regret it!
